How to get paid for clipping,
from a page to a first payout.
Clipping is posting short clips of someone else's content on a page you run, for a brand or creator who pays per view. The process is the same on every site that pays for it; the holds, minimums and rails differ. Here it is in the order it happens.

The process
Seven steps, in order.
- 01
Pick a site, on its terms
Rate model, minimum, payout rail, how views are verified, which platforms count. The comparison guide lays seven sites out under the same headings; pick by the rail you can actually withdraw to and the hold you can live with.
- 02
Add a page and prove it is yours
Views are counted on the account that posted, so every site needs the page to be yours. The methods differ: Promotions.Market gives you a claim code to put in the bio; Vyro, promote.fun and Clipping.net connect the account; Clipify works through its Discord. A page that is not yours never pays.
- 03
Open a campaign and read the rules before the video
Every campaign has rules, and every post is checked against them: tag the people in the clip, write your own caption, no story boosting, no bought views, an organic post between ads. A post that breaks one earns nothing, however well it did.
- 04
Get the clip, brand it, post it
Campaigns ship the clips ready cut, or a source video to cut from. Put your page's logo, username and display name on it in the format your page always uses, then post it to the page you verified, on a platform the campaign allows.
- 05
Submit the link
Paste the post's URL on the campaign. On Promotions.Market the desk approves it and the first reading is taken straight away; from then on the live count is read about every 2 hours. A photo post on a campaign marked Paid on insights screenshot is paid instead from a screenshot of its insights, checked by our desk.
- 06
Let the views verify
Sites read the count from the platform and filter what they will not pay for. Earnings accrue per 1,000 verified views at the campaign's rate until the pool is spent. Keep the post public: a removed or private post stops earning from that point.
- 07
Clear the hold, pass the minimum, get paid
Each site holds earnings while it checks, then pays above its minimum on its rail. The table below has each site's version. Save your payout details before you need them; a statement with no rail on file waits.
Site by site
Minimum, payout and how you join, in each site's words.
| Site | Minimum | Paid how and when | Join |
|---|---|---|---|
| Promotions.Market | $25 | PayPal or Payoneer. Each amount clears 7 days after it is earned (14 on screenshot-paid posts); statements are raised on the 1st and the 15th and paid within the following ten days. | Free. No follower minimum. The page has to be yours: you prove it with a claim code in the bio. |
| Whop | Not stated on the page read. | Withdrawals through Whop Payments; "approved payouts are instant". | "Anyone can join", free. |
| Vyro | $10, withdrawable once per week. | Stripe or PayPal depending on location. Earnings stay pending during a campaign and are released to the wallet after a final view verification check when it ends. | Sign up free and connect your social accounts. |
| Ssemble Clip Rewards | $20 | Ssemble pays its own campaigns directly and partner campaigns through Whop. Earnings become payable 5 days after posting, after a bot and abuse review, to a Stripe payout account (39 countries). | No follower minimum stated. |
| Clipping.net | A qualifying threshold per campaign, 10K to 500K views; a dollar minimum is not stated. | PayPal, or USDC and USDT on Ethereum, paid when a cycle closes after views are verified. | "No following, no application"; accounts are verified after you link them. |
| promote.fun | Not stated on the page read. | Earnings are added to your balance once a campaign ends; withdrawn as USDC on Solana. | Connect an account; no login or password is required for the connection. |
| Clipify | Not stated. | "Instantly", by a method the page does not name. | Through the Discord. |
Rates are set per campaign on every site; what each publishes is in how much do clippers make.
What goes wrong
Six ways a post earns nothing.
- 01
Buying views or joining a pod
Every site checks for it and every site bans for it. On Promotions.Market the posts are removed and pending earnings held; a second time is permanent.
- 02
Posting from a page you did not verify
The link is rejected or the views never attach. Verify every page you plan to post from, before the campaign, not after.
- 03
Skipping the rules
Hiding the like count, boosting through stories, dropping the tags, leaving an AI caption unrelated to the clip. Each one is a rejection on a campaign that asked for it.
- 04
Posting late into a spent pool
A campaign pays until the pool is gone. Check the pool bar before you cut; if it is nearly cleared, your views may verify into nothing.
- 05
No payout rail on file
Statements are raised against the rail you saved. Add PayPal or Payoneer on Promotions.Market (a Stripe account on Vyro and Ssemble, a Solana wallet on promote.fun) before the first hold clears.
- 06
One page, one post
Rates are per view. The clippers who earn run the same campaign across every page they own that fits it, with an organic post between ads on each.
Questions
What first-time clippers ask.
- Do I need followers to get paid for clipping?
- Not on the sites that state it: Vyro, Clipping.net, Ssemble and Promotions.Market take clippers with no follower minimum. You need a page that is yours and can put verified views on a clip; the more reach it has, the more a campaign pays you.
- Do I need to edit the videos myself?
- Not always. Many campaigns ship clips ready cut, with the branding left blank for your page. Where a campaign ships a long source video, Promotions.Market's Clip Studio cuts it into clips for you; other sites expect you to use your own editor.
- How long until the first payment?
- It depends on the site's hold and minimum, and on when your pages put the views up. Vyro releases after a final check when the campaign ends and pays weekly from $10; Ssemble makes earnings payable 5 days after posting from $20; Promotions.Market clears each amount 7 days after it is earned (14 on screenshot-paid posts) and pays from $25 on the next 1st or 15th statement. Whop says approved payouts are instant.
- Can I post the same clip on several platforms?
- On the same campaign, usually yes, on each platform it allows, from a page you verified on each. Submit each post's link separately; each is counted on its own.
- What happens if my post gets taken down?
- It stops earning from that point on every site; on Promotions.Market the views already counted stay counted. Keep the post public for the length of the campaign.
